FM Legal is pleased to be partnering with the Electronic Money Association (EMA) to deliver a practical workshop series on the EU’s new payment services framework, covering the third Payment Services Directive (PSD3) and the Payment Services Regulation (PSR).
Running online from September to December 2026, the series is designed for payment institutions, electronic money institutions and other payment service providers preparing for the most significant changes to the EU payments framework in more than a decade.
The series will explore the principal legal and operational changes introduced by PSD3 and the PSR, including transparency and disclosure obligations, access to payment systems and bank accounts, fraud prevention and liability, data sharing, regulatory perimeter changes, outsourcing and agent arrangements, PSD3 re-authorisations, and cross-border supervision.
The workshops are intended to provide practical guidance on what the new framework means for firms and the steps they should be taking to prepare. The programme is available exclusively to EMA members.
Further information on the programme and registration will be available through the Electronic Money Association.
